Local Hero

John Buchorski, grabbing a rail. We don't see enough of him in the water, but when he is, he shows us mere mortals a thing or too about style, flow and linking the dots.

On Board

Apparently after Nick Radford of 'Frootful' had seen my blog saying that James Parry was looking for sponsorship he put a word in with Howies. A great British brand with some classy threads James will; now be sporting their wears, along with Vans and Skindog Surfboards. Have a great trip to Oz James and good luck in the Noosa and Malfunction comps. Power to the blog.

Captain Skelly

A fine upstanding fellow, member of the North Devon clan but a Cornish boy at heart. Skelly can be found purveying quality surfboards at the Gulf Stream Emporium in Braunton, North Devon. Skelly, his 150 year old consetina, his dog Sam and a fine looking bit of single fin action.

'bugger'

Sometimes you miss the shot and this was mine. A lesson in timing, autofocus and not using a monopod when trying to look over a fence. Sometimes snapping a shot works, sometimes you miss the bugger. Unidentified, in the barrel at Cornwalls most famous sheltered spot.

Cold looking peaks

It looks cold but after surfing the other day with snow on the ground it is actually warmer in the water than outside, honest.
