Mods, Rockers an Rude boys too.

Back in the early eighties I was a teenage 'rude boy', into my Ska, short hair, shiny brogues, stay press slacks and Fred Perry shirts. We thought we looked smart, we did. The rockers were just a mess. Then the Mods would make you think again, two tone suits, shirt and tie, parkers and a slick pair of bowling shoes. The most impressive accessory was the scooter. This little gem was part of a scooter rally and if you have seen Quadrophenia, filmed in my home town, check out 'Ace' played by Sting and he did look the buisness. Almost became a Mod, Nah!!! Ska saved the day.

Our harbour at Sennen is seeing all sorts of activity at the moment with the Lifeboat slip being demolished and lowered ready for the new bigger boat coming later in the year. Whilst down their being nosey I snapped this little image.
