My 100th post. Dedicated to my wife Jill. Now back in the water after nearly nine months. You beauty!!!

Jonty Henshall on his Liddel Quad this week. Jonty creates the most beautiful sculpture and wood furniture from his surroundings. He's one of a few surfers that manages to work his creativitiy around the waves. When not in the workshop opposite Lands End Pine he's sampling a few waves.

Home again

At times the winter seems to linger, but when the travellers return from their exotic travels it usually means that spring is round the corner. Down here in Sennen the migration began in Decedmber to the usual places, Australia, Bali and Morrocco. James Parry has just spent two weeks in Canada in thick rubber surfing cold right hand points with local guide Peter Devries, then went on to Noosa to score warm right hand points and some of the best waves he's had in four seasons. He arrived back today and this shot of him last summer in shorts warms the soul!! The most annoying thing is due to work I missed to opportunity to take some shots of the huge swells hitting Sennen. Check out the Alex wade link to see some of Mike Newmans shots. Mucho Impressive!!
