Plenty of competition around the West Country this weekend. Up at Croyde, North Devon is the Christian Surfers Jesus Surf Classic open to shortboadrers everywhere, not just those that follow a higher source other than the ocean. Down this way at Gwithian Towans is the British Longboard Union event. Sunday will see the best waves for both comps when the wind turns back South Easterly. Until then there should be a few waves to be taken on the South coast with North westerly winds forecast and as I look out of my window now its a beautiful day.
