I have to say that one of my favourite moments from our trip to California was meeting Craig Peterson and Ken Naughton at Sacred Craft. If you have ever seen the movie The Far Shore then you will know that these two travelled to the darkest deepest roots of many a country back in the 70's. The documented and sent their stories and shots home to Surfer Mag. The photos by Craig Peterson would make the front pages of Surfer Mag and their stories of adventure sent the surfing world into a frenzy. Where were these waves that were always kept secret? Who were these two surfers who braved such unknown territories? To meet these two humble and gracious men was something not to be forgotten. They still travel together now and the Harbour 7'8" single fin I own now is the type of board Ken Naughton was riding back then and wishes he never sold it.
