A few random shots from last weekends Olympic parade. The proudest man alive in Sennen that day was Dave Jackson, Number009. A few years ago Dave Jackson was awarded an MBE for his services to the Coast Guard within the West Cornwall area, helping to rescue probably hundreds of the cliffs and footpaths around our coastline. He is a local legend and also used to be our milkman!!. We used to call him Milky Dave MBE for his service to our milk delivery on time. So pleased for Dave and one person who truly deserved to be an olympic torch bearer. Part sponsored by Lloyds Bank the morning was awash with green, although there were a few union flags to be seen. Great morning and Sennen did the olympic parade proud.
