The sad news that Donald Takayama passed away has been flooding the blogs and social networks. Such a great shaper, I am lucky enough to own two boards, not hand shaped by the great man himself but his designs, his influence and his knowledge, and that my friends will do me as both boards are exceptional. A 7ft flow egg and a 6'2" twinnie. RIP Mr Takayama and thanks.
