Leroy Grannis RIP August 12, 1917 – February 3, 2011
This week I have been putting up shots of photographers that inspire me to get out there. Leroy Grannis is one of the founders of Surf Photography and sadly passed away yesterday. He is a Legend. Note to self, look and learn!

Boxing Day realisation.
Hanai Yusuke does some amazing artwork. Whilst recently looking at some old Leroy Grannis shots the denim, roll-ups and simple t-shirts have always been part of and will never leave the surf culture. I then looked down at my own jeans and white t-shirt, Bang on trend 50 years on!!
