He's out there!

Freddy Warwick can be found cruising the beaches of West Penwith and Kerrier looking for surf. In a large vehicle known as the 'Blunder bus' or to us at Surf Action 'HQ1', he's a big man that rides big boards but my god does he get them cranking.

Operation Cornish Wave

This weekend we have 'Operation Cornish Wave'. Our organisation Surf Action are taking 6 Royal Marine amputees surfing. The chaps have returned from Afghanistan and are part of a newly formed Hasler Company based in Plymouth. Our job get these guys rippping!! Its going to be a classic weekend at Polzeth in North Cornwall and we have a team lined up to make it a weekend to remember. We have supportfrom Gul wetsuits, the Royal Navy and Royal Marines surf club and surfermag have sent over a writer, Alex French, to cover the story. Check the photos next week and I had confirmation to day that my shots will be used in Surfer Mag, so stoked. This shot was taken two weeks ago and inlcudes, some of the vets were working with, Trev Luttrel, Martin Webster and Simon Bishop, Bob Paxman from talking to Minds, graham Richardson representing the Royal British Legion, Freddy warwick from the RM surf club and James Parry representing Gul wetsuits, Tin Tin from Nomad surf school and the main man Rich Emerson who without his vision Surf action would not be happening.

'Freddy Would Go'

Local surfer and former Royal Marine of 22 years, Freddy Warwick getting tucked in on his balsa D fin. Since leaving the Freddy has been made an honoury member of the Royal Navy and Royal Marine Surf Club.
