This was Cardiff Reef at six in the mornning on my Birthday a week or so ago. The waves was super small, super clean and so much fun. We got to Cardiff late the previous night and watched some local loggers whilst setting up camp on the beach just before dark, and they were all over it. Expecting to find it busy the next morning we were amazed that no one was there and myself and Rich had the place to ourselves. I think we broke a number of California laws that night, especially sleeping and drinking on the beach, how things have changed in this world.

I miss this place. Used to surf here all the time. Camped here a few times too. Love it.
