Being over the colour grey

Bored of grey days now and need some colour soon. When do the Daffodills arrive?

After last nights Fireworks i thought I would put this burst of colour up here.

Lovin' the sun.

Spring heading for summer, light evenings, some of the flowers are starting to show and the boots are off. The water is still a bit chilly, and the crowds have been here for easter, that is if you follow like a sheep and go where you see everyone else flocking. For a few of us we have found fun and subjective perfection without the masses. My new Slide 65 log is absolutley blowing my hair back and been the underlying symptom of my recent stoke in the water.

Spring around the corner

The daff pickers have been out in full force around Penwith and to me this means that we are only three weeks from the first day of spring.

Some beautiful flowers on show here in Penwith at the moment. Not sure what this is called but is stunning to see.

'Daffs'

Monday morning and I thought a shot of last springs bloomers would help to get over the, greyness of the sky, lack of decent swell and changeable weather. The spring this year saw numerous daffodil crops left untouched due to what seemed to be a lack of labour and demand. Although a beautiful sight to see the fields full of colour its always a shame to see them wither. We have had a beautiful and colourful autumn in Penwith and I hope the winter is not too harsh.

"Flower Power"

In the moment of cold North Easterlies, cloudy skies, wintery showers and a water temperature that is steadily dropping, I thought an summer shot of a summer flower would give you a summer feeling. Only about three weeks until the shortest day!! Hang in there and let the swells begin.
