Had a little logging session on the South Coast here today and was super stoked to surf with Rob Wright from Slide 65 surfboards. Also stoked to have ordered my new log whilst over there. Can't wait for this new toy its going to be so different from all the logs I've been riding. Anyway to keep me stoked when I got home I found this, Another classic shot of Alex Knost by Dane Peterson. Style is everything and this shot is singing out loud.
After yesterdays sad news of Andy Irons passing away I have been reading lots of blogs and heart felt words about a great surfer. In that process I came to my regular look into Dane Petersons amazing Blog and have snatched this great shot he's taken of Mitch Abshire, californian legend, owner of Captains Helm. I read a story about the man in an old issue of longboard magazine, a story worth reading and one regret I have from being in california this past summer is not getting the chance, or should i say not making more of an effort, to drop into to meet him.
